He studied at the Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute and spent years in high-pressure kitchens like The Cheesecake Factory. But he wanted more than just corporate consistency. He wanted to create something personal. Now with the next generation his son Andy is taking over location 2, using the same legendary flavor profiles and full menu.
Father and son started Cilantro Mexican Grill in a humble gas station in North Hollywood. It wasn’t about being fancy. It was about elevating traditional Mexican cuisine with professional technique. That dedication turned a small snack station into a destination! Now they’re using that same expertise to ensure every burrito, taco, and torta that leaves our kitchen arrives at your door tasting just as good as it does at the counter.
